Helium 10 alternative for arbitrage and wholesale sellers

Helium 10 is built for launching your own brand. Arbitrage Hero is built for reselling other people's, profitably.

What we say about Helium 10 here comes from their own site, read in August 2026.

Why sellers move from Helium 10

Black Box searches Amazon, not the shops you buy from

This is the distinction that matters and it is easy to miss. Helium 10 finds products inside Amazon's own catalog by sales, price and category. Arbitrage sourcing needs the opposite direction: read a retailer's catalog and ask whether Amazon pays more.

Reverse ASIN there means keywords, not suppliers

Helium 10's reverse ASIN lookup returns the search terms a listing ranks for. Ours returns the retailers selling that product for less than Amazon does. Same phrase, different job.

No wholesale price list matching

There is nowhere to upload a supplier spreadsheet and have every line matched to an Amazon listing with fees deducted.

The bill is built for a brand owner

There is no entry tier any more: the cheapest plan on their pricing page is Platinum, and it is priced for sellers whose margin comes from a brand they own. A reseller pays for keyword and PPC tooling they will never open.

What each tool does

Reasons not to switch

Where Helium 10 beats us

No tool wins every row. These are the reasons to stay where you are.

  • Keyword research, listing optimisation and PPC management with no real equivalent here - we do none of it.
  • If you sell private label, this comparison is not close and Helium 10 is the right tool.
  • Far more Amazon marketplaces than our US and UK.
  • A large training library and an established community.

What switching involves

  1. 1

Start the trial and set your filters once

Enter the ROI floor, minimum profit and sales rank limits you already buy on, then save them as a preset. If you run different criteria per category, save one preset each.

  2. 2

Re-run the retailers that were already working

Your winning stores stay your winning stores. Scan them with your preset and rebuild the pipeline from fresh prices rather than importing stale finds.

  3. 3

    Upload one supplier price list

If you buy wholesale as well, upload a list and check the matches against what you know is true. It is the fastest way to judge the matching quality.

  4. 4

Connect Amazon for the repricer and cost tracking

This is the part most of the tools on this page do not do at all. Turn on the repricer, and let the inventory manager pick up cost of goods from your first purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Helium 10 do online arbitrage?

Not the sourcing part. Its finders search Amazon's own catalog; they do not read Walmart, Target or any other retailer's prices and compare them with Amazon. Sellers use its extension for on-page checks, but discovery has to come from somewhere else.

I do private label and arbitrage. Do I need both?

Probably, and they do not overlap much. Helium 10 for the brand side, Arbitrage Hero for the resale side.

Does Arbitrage Hero do keyword research?

No, and we would rather say so plainly. Our subject is buy price against sell price, fees, ROI and demand, for products that already exist on Amazon.
